Style Checks

Style Checks let you share products, outfits, and try-on results with friends for quick feedback. Think of it as a "should I buy this?" poll.

Creating a Style Check

You can create a Style Check from:

• A snapshot in Card View
• A product in the Affinity panel
• A saved fit from your Style Brief
• A try-on result in Fit View

Tap the Style Check button and Glimmer generates a shareable link. Creating a check is free (no credits).

Sharing

Copy the link and send it to anyone — text, email, social media, wherever. The link opens on Glimmer's website, so reviewers don't need to install anything.

How reviewers vote

When someone opens your Style Check link, they see:

• The product, outfit, or try-on image
• Product details (if applicable)
• Three voting options: thumbs up, thumbs down, or skip
• An optional comment field (max 280 characters)
• An optional name field (max 50 characters)

No login or account is required to vote.

Tracking responses

Back in Glimmer, you can see:

• All Style Checks you've created
• Response counts for each check
• Individual votes with reviewer names and comments

Expiry

Style Checks expire after a set period:

• Default: 7 days
• Range: 1–30 days

After expiry, the link stops accepting new votes. You can delete expired checks to clean up your list.

• Before you buy — Get a quick thumbs up/down from friends
• Compare options — Create checks for multiple products and see which gets the most votes
• Share try-ons — Show friends how something looks on you before committing
• Gift validation — Check if an outfit idea works for someone's taste
