Try-Ons Overview

Virtual try-ons let you see how a product looks on you before buying. Powered by Google's Gemini AI, Glimmer generates realistic images that blend the garment onto your photo with accurate lighting, folds, and proportions.

How it works

1. You upload a photo of yourself
2. You select a product from the current store or your favorites
3. Glimmer's AI scans the garment's details — fabric, color, cut
4. The AI aligns the product with your body landmarks
5. Lighting, shadows, and fabric draping are blended for realism

The result is a downloadable image you can save, share, or use for Style Checks.

Cost

Each try-on costs 2 credits. This is the most resource-intensive AI feature — the image generation requires significant compute.

Availability

Try-ons work on all supported platforms — Shopify, Demandware, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, and Vestiaire Collective. You just need to be on a product page with detected product data.

Accessing Fit View

Click the Fit View button (palette icon) in the toolbar to switch to the try-on interface. The button is enabled whenever Glimmer detects product data on the current page.
