Install Glimmer

Glimmer is available for macOS. Download the latest version from glimmermode.com.

System requirements

• macOS 13 (Ventura) or later
• Apple Silicon or Intel Mac

Installation

1. Download the .dmg file from glimmermode.com
2. Open the .dmg and drag Glimmer to your Applications folder
3. Launch Glimmer from Applications

On first launch, macOS may ask you to confirm you want to open the app. Click Open to proceed.

Automatic updates

Glimmer checks for updates automatically on launch. When an update is available, you'll see a notification in the toolbar. Click it to download and install — the app will restart with the new version.

Uninstalling

To remove Glimmer, drag it from your Applications folder to the Trash. Your account data (snapshots, style graph, credits) lives on Glimmer's servers and is not affected by uninstalling.
